Job Description: Mechanical Design Engineer (1+ Years Experience)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer with 1+ years of experience in product design, development, and validation. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in 3D CAD modeling, engineering drawings, prototype development, and testing of mechanical components or assemblies. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure products meet design, quality, and performance requirements.


Key Responsibilities:

* Design mechanical components and assemblies using 3D CAD software (Fusion 360).

* Prepare detailed manufacturing drawings, BOMs, and engineering documentation.

* Develop concepts and optimize designs for manufacturability, cost, and performance.

* Build, assemble, and evaluate prototypes.

* Plan and execute mechanical tests, validation, and performance evaluations.

* Analyze test results and recommend design improvements.

* Perform root cause analysis for design or product failures and implement corrective actions.

* Coordinate with production, quality, procurement, and suppliers during product development.

* Support engineering change management activities.

* Ensure compliance with applicable engineering standards, safety, and quality requirements.

* Prepare technical reports, test reports, and design documentation.


Required Qualifications:

* Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

* 1–3 years of experience in mechanical design and testing.

* Proficiency in at least one CAD software (Fusion 360, SolidWorks, Creo, CATIA, etc.).

* Good understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T.

* Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as machining, sheet metal, fabrication, injection molding, or casting.

* Experience with prototype development and mechanical testing.

* Familiarity with engineering materials and material selection.

* Basic understanding of tolerance stack-up and design calculations.

* Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
